H. Paxton Moore Fine Art Gallery Presents Young American Talent

Dallas, TX – The H. Paxton Moore Fine Art Gallery at El Centro College presents: "Young American Talent," from February 27 – March 23. A reception and award ceremony will be held Wednesday, March 22 from 6-8 p.m.
 
The H. Paxton Moore Fine Art Gallery at El Centro College announces a juried exhibition of talented high school visual arts students from the North Texas area. The exhibition is sponsored in collaboration with the Visual Arts Guild of Booker T. Washington High School for the Performing and Visual Arts.
 
Each spring, this juried competition showcases artworks from area high school art students. Organized jointly by the Visual Arts Guild at Booker T. Washington High School for the Performing and Visual Arts and El Centro College, this year’s show will feature 115 artworks chosen from 799 entries. Works in the categories of Painting/Watercolor, Drawing, Mixed Media, Digital Imaging, Photography, Printmaking, Sculpture, Ceramics, Fibers and Jewelry will be featured.
 
This year's jurors are Christopher Bingham, a Dallas based artist and high school instructor, Jessica Fuentes, Art and Museum Educator at the Dallas Museum of Art, and Jordan Roth, owner of Ro2 gallery. They will choose award winners in each category, along with the overall Best of Show selection.

Gallery hours are Monday through Wednesday from 10 a.m. – 4 p.m.; Thursday from 10 a.m. – 7 p.m. and Friday from 10 a.m. – 3 p.m.
